Emily + Carl. Xx

Furtho Manor Farm, Northamptonshire, U.K

This wedding was AWESOME!!! These guys had such a beautiful wedding, and were blessed with the most stunning sunshine all day. All the little details were so well thought out, and perfectly reflected this gorgeous couple.

The day for me started over at Emily + Carls house, photographing the groom and his best man getting ready. As is the case on most occasions, groom prep is over super quickly, and this was no exception. It was all good vibes and super chilled, with a little bit of pre wedding banter for good measure. I next headed off to Emilys parents house. I have never experienced a bridal party more chilled and relaxed in all my time photographing weddings. It was amazing, and almost over as quickly as the boys hahahahah. There were no last minute dramas, no stressy moments, just perfectly relaxed and chilled. I'm aware by this point I've mentioned the word ''chilled'' too many times but thats the only way I can describe these guys - they are awesome guys. Emily's dress (by Once in a Lifetime) was incredible, and she looked so beautiful in it.

I quickly popped over to the church and photographed guests arriving before grabbing a few shots of the beautiful bride as she arrived with her dad. The ceremony was short and sweet, and the couple were lit by some beautiful light shining through the top of the church. As the couple left they had a confetti walk, minding out for the paper missiles heading their way. Once carefully negotiated, they got into their wedding car and headed to their amazing venue.

Furtho manor farm was the stunning backdrop for Emily + Carls gorgeous reception. A beautiful open sided barn is set within stunning rolling English countryside, with a lake at the bottom of the hill glistening in the summer sunshine. Emily had decorated the barn in the days leading up to the wedding and had made it look absolutely beautiful. Her attention to detail was amazing, so many simple little touches which made the wedding feel incredible, she could easily make a new career as a wedding planner any time.

We took five minutes to wander down towards the lake, to take some portraits before returning to the party to mingle with guests. Once the cake (by Jamiebakescakes was cut, it was quickly onto the first dance, and then beautiful summer evening listening to good music, surrounded by good company, and lots of mega dance offs.

All in all, an amazing day that I won't forget in a hurry, not only for how beautiful every aspect of the day was, but for how chilled out and beautiful these guys are as a couple.

I wish you guys all the best on the rest of your adventure together as husband and wife.

Big loves, Benny. Xx
